전치사/접속사/부사 차이점

	전치사	접속사	(접속)부사
예시	at, on, in,  because of	while, when, because	therefore, however
특징	전치사+명사/대명사 전치사+동명사 전치사+명사절	접속사+S+V 접속사가 있으면, 문장 전체에 동사 2개 이상 가능!	(주로) 접속부사, S+V  동사개수에 영향 없음

전치사&접속사 모두 가능

1. Before 전에

[전치사]

Invitations to the party must mailed at least two weeks before the event.

파티 초대장은 최소한 행사 2주 전에 우편으로 보내져야 한다.

[접속사]

Please ensure that all boxes are labeled properly before they are sent to the warehouse.

박스들이 창고로 보내지기 전에 그들이 적절히 라벨을 붙이고 있는지 확실하게 해주세요.

2. After 후에

[전치사]

Unfortunately, Ms Jin will not be available for consultation after next week.

애석하게도, Jin은 다음 주 이후에는 상담 할 시간이 없을 것이다.

[접속사]

The director has decided to end the labratory's partnership with Vivien Corporation after he carefully considered the options.

이사는 조심스럽게 가능한 옵션을 고려한 후에, Vivien Corporation 과의 실험실 동반자 관계를 끝내기로 결정하였다.

3. Until ~까지

[전치사]

The talk by Dr. Lee has been postponed until next Friday.

이박사의 연설는 다음 금요일로 연기되었다.

[접속사]

We will continue to offer our clients the Maple Room for their largest events until renovations to the Birch Room are complete.

우리는 Bitch Room의 공사가 끝날 때까지 손님들에게 큰 행사를 위해 Maple Room을 계속해서 제공할 것이다.

4.Since 

[전치사] ~이래로

Star Corporation's stock price has more than doubled in value since last year.

Star corporation의 주가가 작년 이래로 두 배 이상이 되었다.

[접속사]

(1) ~이래로

Moving assembly lines have become more sophisticated since they were first introduced in the automobile manufacturing industry.

조립 생산 라인이 자동차 생산 업게에 처음 도입된 이래로, 그것을 옮기는 것은 매우 정교해졌다.

(2) ~때문에

Since the company's holiday calender is posted online, paper copies will no longer be distributed.

회사의 휴일 달력이 온라인에 게시되었기 때문에 종이 사본은 더 이상 배포되지 않습니다.

5.As

[전치사]~로서 (자격, 직책)

Ms. Song has drawn some lessons from her experience as a correspondent

Song은 특파원으로서의 경험으로부터 교훈을 배웠다.

[접속사]

(1) ~할 때(=When)

He sat watching her as she got ready.

그녀가 (나갈) 준비를 할 때, 그는 앉아서 그녀를 지켜 보았다.

(2) ~때문에

As you were out, I left a message.

네가 외출하고 없었기 때문에, 메시지를 남겼다.

(3) ~대로

As discussed in our last meeting, we are going to postponed the NK-1 Project.

저번 회의에서 논의된 대로, 우리는 NK-1프로젝트를 연기할 것입니다.

For + 숫자

Because of = due to = owing to = on account of

About = on, as to, concerning, regarding, pertaining to

Alongside 옆에서 ~와 함께

Let alone ~뿐만 아니라 ~는 더 말할 것도 없고

ex) There isn't enough room for us, let alone any guests.

손님은 커녕 우리 쓸 공간도 충분치가 않다.
